Sally Ann's Story
Life
After graduating, I began designing rugs and home textiles and eventually set up a small business, based between NYC and New Delhi, India. I traveled intensively for years and loved it, but somehow forgot to get married and have kids (oops)! In 1999, I met my husband Joel (whew!), gave up the apartment in India and settled back home. Manhattan and have a son and a daughter (toddler twins) who keep us both on our toes.
College
I went to Rhode Island School of Design and especially loved the last year in Rome. That year, I learned how to cook well (subsequently forgotten!) and dance on the tables while singing in Italian. Nowadays, I heat up babyfood and try to duck, when it gets tossed back at me.
